Food Ideas
If you have an upcoming event, large or small, don't hesitate to stop by and talk with us - we'll help you plan, give you ideas, and even do the cooking if you like. Whether it's hors-d'oeuvres, dinner for twelve, or a weekend of events, we'd love to help make it flow smoothly.

Also, don't ever hesitate to just call! If the sauce separates; if you have fennel and aren't sure what to do with it; if you have forgotten the time and temperature for a filet; if you want to reserve bread or an entrée - JUST CALL. We're here at 56-Onion.

Special Orders
We have access to great suppliers of unusual foods. If there is something you need that isn't readily available, whether it's a shelf stable or fresh item, we would be happy to try to find it for you.

In-Stock Orders
Call us ahead of time and we will put your order together for you so you can just stop by and pick it up. Even if you're not sure of what you want, call for ideas. Also, if we are out of an item you want, we will call you as soon as it comes in.

Catering
We do a wonderful job on a wide variety of catering requirements - a special dinner for four, just the meat and starch for a dinner party for 40, the rehearsal dinner for your 80 guest wedding, hors-d'oeuvres for 150, a business lunch for your Board of Directors, etc.   We would be happy to supply references.

Shipping
We ship to you and for you. Come in and pick the items out yourself, or contact us by phone or e-mail. We use UPS unless you request otherwise. Please note in an effort to do our share to cut down on waste, we reuse the boxes inventory arrives in.
